I kneel straight down from a Forward Bow as I drive the bottom of my forearm into the incoming offset kick to my groin.
As my attacker withdraws back in preparation to attack again, I follow up with a slide in kick.

Shift Away Descending Palm Heel Hammer Block and Slide in Counter Kick
http://youtu.be/EGY9KiFF304
My attacker slides in and executes a Front Thrust Kick to my lower stomach with the ball of his foot.
I shift back to a Front Cat from a Forward Bow as I drive the heel of my palm down into the top of his incoming kick to my stomach.
Again, as my attacker withdraws back in preparation to attack again, I follow up with a slide in kick.

Simultaneous Block with Forehand Hammerfist
http://youtu.be/eHNncd4PfGA
Although similar in many ways to the techniques done during the last two days; there is one fundamental difference with this series.
I wind up my counter ahead of time. My rear fist is close to my rear ear.
This is a powerful series of movements but they are slower than others and must be placed with perfect timing…Or they will be blocked and countered.

Simultaneous Block with Backhand Hammerfist
http://youtu.be/y21J2FVuLQI
This is similar to yesterday’s techniques.
The main difference is that I use a backhand hammerfist to counter, instead of a Forefist thrust.
Because of this difference, more movement is involved and this makes these techniques more difficult to land than a Forefist thrust.
However, if they do land, it will be with greater authority and surprise leaving the recipient more vulnerable to follow ups.

Simultaneous Block with Counter Punch
http://youtu.be/Kp2GvFV5liU
I block with my lead arm while counter punching with my rear arm.
The technique looks simple enough but only hours of relentless training will build the kind of reflex that will hold up under pressure.

Block, Check, Counter
http://youtu.be/4AbC-71f7Ck
Just like it sounds, it is used against a heavy slow brawler that likes to lean in with his blows.
But it is a difficult technique to make work properly and requires a lot of practice or it will fail.
