I am standing in a Forward Bow holding the cane with my rear arm in the 4th grip.
My opponent punches to my head.
I snap the end of the cane into my lead arm then execute a rising block with it (as shown).
I then recoil the cane to my chest and drive out a cross check.

Shift Forward Offset Kick
http://youtu.be/KgQgeVZP-Io
Again, the kick itself is simple enough.
I shift forward and raise the back leg up while bending the foot up tight (like I am standing on my heel).
I turn my hip slightly as I straighten the leg and drive the foot out hitting the abdomen of my opponent.

Shift Forward Front Thrust Kick
http://youtu.be/tVwB3oxFuvI
The kick is simple enough.
I shift forward and raise the back leg up while bending the foot up tight (like I am standing on my heel).
I drive my hips forward as I straighten the leg and foot out hitting the abdomen of my opponent.
I have to be able to know the kick and how to apply it without thinking about it.

Slide in Roundhouse Kick
http://youtu.be/mnjg3CgaNlY
Again, this is similar to yesterday’s kick.
The Roundhouse kick is simple enough.
I start off in a Leading Horse Stance this time.
I step in and raise the bent leg at an angle (as shown).
Drive the ball of my foot into the side of the opponent’s abdomen.
As I demonstrate, I could use the top of my foot or the toe but I choose to use the ball of my foot..
Constant practice is an absolute must.

Slide in Offset Kick
http://youtu.be/jya0Ye_u60Y
Similar to yesterday’s kick.
The offset kick is simple enough.
Step in, raise the bent leg at an angle (as shown).
Drive the top of my foot into the side of the opponent’s abdomen.
There are other targets I could aim at if I chose.
I practice this kick until using it is a reflex.
I must be able to kick and to follow up, as well.
Then there is the matter of justification.
I must be able to justify using this (when there is time to do so).

Slide in Front Snap Kick
http://youtu.be/knCVzls-gLc
The kick is simple enough.
Step in, raise the bent leg.
Drive the top of my foot into the opponent’s groin.
It must be reflex.
I have to be able to know the kick and how to apply it without thinking about it.
There is also the matter of consequence.
Some people fall down when kicked there and some are ready and do not.
Instead, they counter.
My defense to their counter must also be reflex.

Angled Block and Two Counters
http://youtu.be/lxj6PN7at5E
Lead limb angled block into counter punch.
Again I grab the cane in an augmented 6th grip (as shown).
At this point I cross check my opponent.
