Mantis Block/Check then Multiple Counters

In this case, I block a heavy horizontal punch to my body with a Mantis Block. This is immediately followed by the opposite arm ‘checking’. I literally hold his arm in place for a fraction of a second before countering.
Once I have blocked the incoming punch, I check it with my other arm before counterattacking.
This concept of block/ check works best against a heavy punch.
