Another basic drill that requires I move my arms around my stationary body. The arms start and finish at the same time. There is no head or torso movement. My core is engaged and my knees are bent. In this case, my palm heel travels entirely across my body.
This drill is not about speed or power. It does build coordination, focus, reflex and overall awareness. It is very unlikely I would be able to use this in a serious conflict.
This is another of the several variations of this drill. Today I am using a High Outside Palm Heel Block, a Low Outside Palm Heel Block and a Mi Outside Palm Heel Block.
