This is very similar to yesterday’s drill.
Using the Cane in the fifth grip, I advance from a Left Forward Bow Stance to a Neutral Stance. I strike with the end of the cane into the bag in a high-low-center pattern. I follow-up with a left offset kick and withdraw back to the left bow.
I switch stances to a Right Forward Bow and repeat on that side.
Again, I start slowly; I concentrate on the correct distance and position. Then I build up my speed and power as the drill progresses.
The main difference in this drill is that I can torque into the strike with the cane tip (or not) depending upon what targets are open and how hard I what to strike.
