Diagonal Downward Block then Follow-up Counters

This is used against a slide in offset snap kick to the side of the abdomen.

I drive my Diagonal Downward Block out to my open side as I turn into the block.

This has the effect of smashing his instep as I defend myself.

As he withdraws back in preparation for another attack; I step forward and kick to the groin.

I drop my kicking leg down and punch three more times.

Only then do I withdraw back to my guard.
