Mirror Image Side Kick Defense 2nd Variation

http://youtu.be/JTZcXLtxx64

Attacker and Defender face each other in mirror stances (right leading stance against left leading).

The kicker slides in, his lead leg Side Kicks to the groin and then he drops his leg to the ground. This time he stays, perhaps to kick again.

Like yesterday; the defender withdraws back to a Left Leading Cat stance and using his right arm Blocks the back of the kicking leg with a downward Parry. This parry blocks back along the kicking leg and guides it slightly off course beside the target.

Before the kicker withdraws or kicks again (as he lowers his kicking leg), the defender follows with a shifting forward offset kick to the kickers own groin. The defender takes care to keep a good distance from the attacker when countering.

The main difference between yesterday and today; the kicker moved back just out of range yesterday. Today, he stays at kicking range. In both scenarios, it is apparent that the kicker is dangerous throughout the drill.

Without prejudice
